mink

A coat pattern in cats that is half way between that of a colour point and a sepia coat pattern. e.g. Tonkinese; A cat that possesses the codominant alleles from the colour point allele and the sepia allele (cs/cb). A cat with these alleles results in a coat pattern formed by moderately thermo-liable tyrosinase, and thus only forming normal pigmentation on the tail, legs, face and ears, and a moderately lighter coat pigmentation on body. See Himalayan Series.
