Intermediate conformation, hairless. A slight "peach-fuzz" (down hairs) may be present. The color and pattern is visible on the skin itself. Hairless cats existed in Mexico but died out, a hairless mutation which occurred in France failed to thrive. The modern originated from a hairless Oriental Shorthair born in Canada.
